Our Band Director

Dr. Jeremy Smith brings a dynamic blend of musical excellence, educational leadership, and collegiate experience to our band program. Recently earning his Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Wind Conducting from the University of Georgia, Dr. Smith was recognized with the prestigious Director’s Excellence Award and led the premiere performance of his transcription of George Walker’s Sinfonia No. 4 (Strands) with the University of Georgia Wind Ensemble.

With an accomplished background that includes leadership roles at Florida A&M University, Norfolk State University, and Oklahoma State University, Dr. Smith is committed to inspiring students through artistry, discipline, and innovation. His passion for music education and dedication to student growth continue to elevate every aspect of our band program.
